One of the most frequent—and most important—questions we hear is, “Does virtual care really work?”
We’re excited to say that the answer is a resounding “Yes.” In fact, it was research conducted during the time that Dr. Kat Boger was at McLean Hospital that convinced her to follow her passion and start InStride Health.
Dr. Boger was one of the co-founders of the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program (MAMP), a nationally recognized program for children and adolescents with moderate to severe anxiety. Before the pandemic they delivered in-person care, but had to pivot to virtual treatment during the height of lockdowns. When they compared outcomes, the results were the same.
With that knowledge, it became clear that virtual care could make treatment more accessible to those in need and help solve the mental health crisis. InStride Health delivers comprehensive, evidence-based (CBT, ERP, ACT, DBT) outpatient treatment for kids, teens and young adults experiencing moderate to severe anxiety and/or OCD. And our care also comes with the additional benefits of flexibility and convenience.
